Dawgs lead MCHA

The Adrian College NCAA hockey team swept a weekend series Friday and Saturday night against MSEO last weekend with final scores of 6-4 and 9-2 respectively.
The Bulldogs knew they had a tough game going into Friday night’s match, though they managed to pick up their 13th straight win a difficult rival MSEO.
The Bulldogs were unable to hold off an early offensive attack by MSEO as junior goal tender Brad Fogal let one sail to the back of the Bulldog net. The game continued in this fashion until the Bulldogs took over the lead at 7:54 in the second period. Once the Dawgs had the lead, they never looked back, winning with a 6-4 final score. Saturday night, the Bulldogs continued their winning ways defeating MSEO by a 7 point margin with a 9-2 final score. The Dawgs will begin MCHA tournament play on March 5 at an undecided time.
