Last night the Adrian College men’s basketball team defeated the Kalamazoo College Hornets by a final score of 71-49. The Bulldogs bite the Hornets in front of a home crowd at the Merillat Sports & Fitness Center.
The Bulldogs lead the entire second half by a double digit margin.
The win allows the Bulldogs to move forward in MIAA tournament play. At the time of print, the number one ranked Calvin College Knights beat the eighth ranked Alma College Scots with a final score of 67-49. The second ranked Hope College Flying Dutchmen beat the seventh ranked Trine University Thunder with a final score of 66-61.
This means two things:
First, it is likely that the first ranked Calvin College will take on the fourth ranked Olivet College.
Second, it is likely that the third ranked Bulldogs will face the second ranked Hope College in a up coming tournament match. At the time of print a tournament schedule was not available.
